His short film "Héroe" was selected for Claqueta Fest. Festival de Cine Internacional de la Laguna 2024. His latest short film, "Vicente", has been selected for six film festivals, including Claqueta Fest. Festival de Cine Internacional de la Laguna, the Broadway International Film Festival, and the AltFF Alternative Film Festival, where Cortés won the Best Actor award in 2025.
