On stage, he won acclaim for his Tony Award-winning Broadway performance in the revival of A Moon for the Misbegotten and one person plays such as Brief Lives. On screen, he is best known as Leopold Mozart in Amadeus and as a regular on the 1987-1990 series Beauty and the Beast.
