Thodoros Syriotis

Theodoros Syriotis (Greek: Θόδωρος Συριώτης, 1935-2022) was a graduate of the Drama School of the Free Theatre of Thessaloniki. Theodoros Syriotis (Greek: Θόδωρος Συριώτης, 1935-2022) was a graduate of the Drama School of the Free Theatre of Thessaloniki. He collaborated with many troupes such as the Greek Folk Theatre of Manos Katrakis. He joined the staff of the National Theatre in 1959 and remained as a permanent member for a number of years until 1989. During his long collaboration with the National Theatre, he collaborated with directors such as Alexis Minotis, Alexis Solomos, Takis Mouzenidis, Kostis Michaelides, Giorgos Sevastikoglou, Spyros Evangelatos, Jules Dassin and others. After leaving the National Theatre, he collaborated with troupes of the Free Theatre such as Giorgos Konstantinos, Katerina Gioulaki, G. Nikolaidis, Thymios Karakatsanis, Giorgos Kimoulis, Aliki Vougiouklaki, as well as with several municipal regional theatres, such as the Thessalian Theatre and the Volos Municipal Theatre. In recent years, he has collaborated with the State Theatre of Northern Greece. He participated in many theatrical broadcasts of the Greek Radio, in film productions and many television series.
